We get very few bands through here with enough personality and attention to reality to express something more than wanting to be in a band as “cool” as Death and Opeth, so it was a rare treat when the Dissidence Seven Corpses Impaled slide across our desks.

Following our review, this album disappeared into a flurry of new releases, so I returned to give it a listen. Most will appreciate the classic 1990s guitar tone but the faithfulness to old school while having its own voice is in my view its most attractive trait.
