Incantation released a music for the track “Messiah Nostrum” off their sure to be lame upcoming album Profane Nexus which comes out on Relapse Records later this year on a date I do not care enough about to Google or read the description of the Youtube video for. Neither should you as you absolutely should not pay money for this excuse to tour.

Incantation Release “Rites of the Locust” Confirming Suspicions That They Will Further Bowdlerize Themselves

Incantation released the first “single” well preview track of their sure to be mediocre upcoming album, Profane Nexus. “Rites of the Locust” rehashes their past material into an ultra generic death metal song. The actual song sounds like it rehashes a bunch of licks on the already rehashed Vanquish in Vengeance.

Upcoming Marduk, Incantation, and Abysmal Dawn US Tour

Marduk, Incantation, and Abysmal Dawn are touring the United States together this August and September. Tour dates and venues are pending. Will antifascists and communists attack Marduk for their apolitical use of Second World War imagery? Will Incantation be targeted too as Craig Pillard was the vocalist on their best work? We will have to wait and see.

Onward to Golgotha: The Deepest Death Metal

Incantation‘s debut and best work, Onward to Golgotha, remains the deepest death metal album I have ever experienced a quarter century after its release as of today. With material (“Unholy Massacre” and “Profanation”) dating back to the initial founding of Incantation by guitarist John McEntee and drummer Paul Ledney, Onward to Golgotha was a record influenced as much by Bathory and Beherit as it was Morbid Angel and Autopsy.

Revenant Live Europe 1991 Bootleg
